GENERAL
INFORMATION TO CANDIDATES
1. Applicant
must be from Nigeria.
2. Providing
false information or submitting counterfeit certificates is strongly cautioned
against. Detection of such actions at any stage will result in disqualification
and subsequent legal action against the applicant.
3. For applicant
with a first degree, a minimum of Second Class Upper Division is required,
while HND holders should have Upper Credit. Computer literacy is advantageous
across all fields.
4. Certification
of full registration with relevant professional bodies in Nigeria is mandatory
for applicants.
5. Credentials
from foreign institutions must be authenticated by the Federal Ministry of
Education, and copies of all certificates should be submitted at chosen
aptitude test centers.
6. Applicants
must present their O'level West African Examination Certificate (WAEC), with a
compulsory credit in Mathematics and English.
7. Possession
of an NYSC discharge certificate or a letter of exemption is mandatory for
enlistment.
8. Male
applicants must be at least 1.68 meters tall, while female applicants must be
at least 1.65 meters tall.
9. Applicants
should be between 22 and 28 years old by March 25, 2024, except for Medical
Officers who should not exceed 30 years
10. Serving
personnel, Soldier/Rating/Airman, and other paramilitary services personnel must
obtain a letter of attestation duly signed by the heads of their units.
