The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Adhoc Staff recruitment is open and is accepting applications from qualified persons. 

Application for Recruitment of Ad-hoc Staff for the bye-elections in the affected states (Bayelsa, Bauchi, Borno, Cross River, Enugu, Imo, Katsina, Kogi, Lagos, Plateau and Zamfara).

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has unveiled a portal for the recruitment of ad hoc staff for the 2023 elections.

Ad hoc staff includes Supervisory Presiding Officers, Presiding Officers, Assistant Presiding Officers, Registration Area Technicians, And Registration Area Centre Managers.

The online portal for applications will open on September 14 at 8am and close on December 14 at 8pm. “To achieve the required number of ad-hoc staff per states, it is important that robust engagement/sensitization by the admin. secs/HOD EOPs/EOs & AEOs under the leadership of the RECs is commenced with the authorities of Federal, State Tertiary Institutions and the NYSC offices (state/government levels).

INEC ADHOC STAFF RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS 2022

INEC adhoc staff applicants must possess some requirements before they can apply for the recruitment. Candidates must be graduates from any recognized institution in Nigeria. You must be fluent in English language and have strong communication skills.

All INEC Adhoc recruitment candidates, ensure you have the certificates from your tertiary institution as you will be required to upload it on INEC Pres portal pres.inecnigeria.org.

It is expected that applicants have the willingness to join the Ad hoc workforce in INEC and work diligently in preparations for the upcoming 2023 general elections which will take place nationwide.

INEC is expecting applicants to login to the adhoc application portal and submit all the document required. Shortlisted candidates will subsequently be contacted for the next stage of the recruitment exercise.

Also, interested candidates should possess a valid means of identification such as an ID Card or Birth Certificate. Candidates with B.Sc, HND or OND are eligible to apply as well.
